Brussels press conference marks start of Cyprus Eu Presidency

The Cyprus EU Presidency will function as a truly European Presidency, without any hidden agenda, Deputy Minister for European Affairs Andreas Mavroyiannis stressed on Monday.
Presenting at a press conference in Brussels the priorities of the Cyprus EU Presidency, Mavroyiannis said that Cyprus assumed on July 1st its first EU Presidency, which constitutes a great challenge for the country. He pointed out that the skills and the enthusiasm of the Cypriot people guarantee a good outcome for the Cyprus Presidency.
The press conference marked the start of the Cyprus Presidency. During the press conference Danish Ambassador Tranholm – Mikkelsen presented an overview of the achievements of the Danish Presidency and wished Cyprus every success.
